If I leave an ice cube in the sun, will it melt?
This is a good prediction. In science, we call it a hypothesis.
A hypothesis tells what you think will happen and why.
What makes a good hypothesis?
- It is a statement.
- It tells what you think will happen and why.
- It can be tested.
This is excellent. I teach ESL students for 1st-3rd Science and was really struggling with Hypothesis. Love the picture and the definition.
